9. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR applies, we will rely on an appropriate legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include:
Consent
We may rely on your consent for activities such as certain analytics, advertising, cookies, or other processing where consent is legally required.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Legitimate interests
We may process personal data where necessary for legitimate interests pursued by Technolista or a relevant third party, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
Examples may include:
- maintaining Website security;
- preventing abuse;

Where applicable, we may process personal data where necessary to protect someone’s vital interests.
10. Thailand PDPA Legal Bases
Under Thailand’s PDPA, Technolista will identify an appropriate lawful basis for each processing activity.
Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on:
- consent;
- performance of a contract or taking steps at the request of the data subject;
- compliance with a legal obligation;
- protection of vital interests;
- legitimate interests, where applicable; or
- other lawful grounds recognized by the PDPA.
For processing activities that require consent, consent will be requested in an appropriate manner and will not be bundled unnecessarily with unrelated matters.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on your device that can be used to provide functionality, remember preferences, measure usage, or support advertising.
We may use the following categories:
Strictly Necessary Technologies
These may be required for:
- Website security;
- core functionality;
- basic technical operation; and
- remembering certain consent or privacy preferences.
These technologies generally cannot be disabled where they are necessary for the Website to function.
Analytics Technologies
We use:
- Google Analytics; and
- Matomo.
These services may collect information about Website usage, device and browser characteristics, approximate geographic information, and interactions with pages.
Google states that Google Analytics may use cookies and identifiers to measure interactions and that website operators should inform visitors about the information collected and provide appropriate controls.
Matomo provides privacy controls including anonymization, consent management, retention controls, and visitor-data deletion capabilities. The exact privacy characteristics depend on how Matomo is configured on the Website.
Technolista intends to configure analytics in a privacy-conscious manner and will use consent controls where required by applicable law.
Advertising Technologies
Where Google AdSense is enabled, advertising cookies and related technologies may be used.
Google states that AdSense may use cookies to support advertising, reporting, frequency management, and personalization. Google also requires publishers to disclose relevant third-party advertising cookie practices in their privacy policies.
Embedded Content Technologies
Embedded services such as YouTube, Google Maps, and CodePen may use cookies or similar technologies and may collect information about interactions with embedded content.
12. Cookie Consent
Technolista intends to implement a cookie consent mechanism that allows visitors to control non-essential categories of cookies and similar technologies where consent is required.
Where applicable, you will be able to:
- accept non-essential cookies;
- reject non-essential cookies;
- select individual categories; and
- change or withdraw your preferences later.
The availability and exact operation of these controls may depend on the consent-management technology implemented on the Website.
We will not treat continued browsing as consent where applicable law requires an affirmative consent mechanism.
13. Google Analytics
Technolista uses Google Analytics to understand Website usage and improve its content and services.
Depending on the configuration, Google Analytics may process information such as:
- browser and device information;
- approximate location;
- page views;
- interactions;
- session information;
- referring information; and
- pseudonymous identifiers.
Google states that its standard Website implementation can collect user and session statistics, approximate geolocation, browser/device information, and first-party cookie identifiers.
Technolista will not intentionally configure Google Analytics to send information such as email addresses, telephone numbers, or other directly identifying information that should not be sent to Google Analytics.
Google specifically prohibits customers from sending Personally Identifiable Information to Google Analytics.
Where legally required, analytics processing will be subject to your consent preferences.
Google provides additional information regarding its privacy practices and user controls through its own documentation.
14. Matomo
Technolista also uses Matomo for website analytics.
Matomo is used to understand Website usage, measure content performance, and improve the Website.
The specific information processed depends on the Matomo configuration used by Technolista.
Technolista intends to use available privacy controls such as:
- IP anonymization where appropriate;
- data minimization;
- appropriate retention settings;
- consent management where required; and
- deletion mechanisms where available.
Matomo provides documentation covering GDPR compliance, anonymization, consent, retention, user rights, and deletion.
15. Google AdSense and Advertising
Technolista may display advertisements through Google AdSense.
Advertising may involve cookies, identifiers, IP addresses, browser information, device information, and information concerning interactions with advertisements.
Google states that AdSense cookies may be used to support relevant advertising, campaign measurement, and advertising frequency management.
Depending on your location, browser settings, consent choices, and Google’s advertising configuration, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized.
Where applicable law requires consent for personalized advertising or related storage/access technologies, Technolista will obtain consent before enabling the relevant processing.
You may also manage certain Google advertising preferences through Google’s advertising controls.
16. Affiliate Links
Technolista may participate in affiliate marketing programs.
Affiliate links allow Technolista to receive a commission when a visitor follows a qualifying link and subsequently completes an eligible transaction with the relevant third party.
Affiliate links may use cookies or other tracking mechanisms operated by the relevant affiliate provider.
Technolista does not control the privacy practices of affiliate networks or merchants.
You should review the privacy policy of the relevant third party when following an affiliate link.
Affiliate relationships do not give Technolista access to payment-card information or other information that the third-party merchant independently collects from you unless expressly stated otherwise.
17. Sponsored Content
Technolista may introduce sponsored content in the future.
If sponsored content involves additional personal-data processing beyond the ordinary operation of the Website, the relevant processing will be disclosed before or when the processing occurs.
Sponsored content will be identified appropriately, and sponsorship will not automatically give a sponsor access to personal data collected by Technolista.
This Privacy Policy will be updated where necessary.
18. Embedded Content
Technolista may embed content from third-party services, including:
- YouTube;
- Google Maps; and
- CodePen.
Embedded content may behave similarly to visiting the third-party service directly.
The third-party provider may collect information about your browser, device, IP address, interactions, and other information and may set cookies or similar technologies.
For example, YouTube and Google Maps are operated by Google and may process information according to Google’s own policies.
CodePen may independently process information according to its own privacy practices.
Technolista does not control third-party privacy practices.
Where technically and legally appropriate, Technolista may implement privacy-enhancing measures such as delayed loading, consent-based loading, or similar mechanisms.
19. Discord Community
Technolista currently uses Discord as its community platform rather than operating its own forum.
If you choose to join the Technolista Discord community, Discord may process personal data such as your account information, username, profile information, messages, technical information, and activity information according to Discord’s own policies.
Technolista may process information you voluntarily share within the community for purposes such as:
- community moderation;
- responding to questions;
- managing community participation;
- enforcing community rules; and
- protecting the community from abuse.
You should review Discord’s own privacy policy before joining the community.
20. Third-Party Service Providers
Technolista may use third-party providers to operate and improve the Website.
Current or anticipated providers include:
| Provider / Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Hostinger | Website hosting and infrastructure |
| Google Analytics | Website analytics |
| Matomo | Website analytics |
| Google AdSense | Advertising |
| YouTube | Embedded video |
| Google Maps | Embedded maps |
| CodePen | Embedded development content |
| Discord | Community platform |
The actual list may change as the Website develops.
Third-party providers may process personal data on their own systems and may be located in countries other than Thailand.
Where required, Technolista will take appropriate steps to establish lawful processing and appropriate contractual or other safeguards.
21. International Data Transfers
Some service providers used by Technolista may process personal data outside Thailand or outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Where personal data is transferred internationally, Technolista will seek to use legally recognized mechanisms and appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
Depending on the provider and jurisdiction, safeguards may include:
- adequacy decisions;
- contractual safeguards;
- standard contractual clauses;
- data processing agreements;
- consent where legally permitted; or
- other mechanisms recognized under applicable law.
Because third-party services can change their infrastructure and processing locations, the precise location of processing may depend on the service and its current configuration.
22. Data Retention
Technolista follows a data-minimization approach and does not retain personal data longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Current target retention periods include:
Server and security logs
Approximately 30 days, unless required for an ongoing security investigation, legal matter, or other legitimate purpose.
Contact and business communications
Retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, manage the relevant business relationship, establish or defend legal claims, comply with legal obligations, or maintain appropriate business records.
Analytics data
Retention depends on the configuration and retention settings of Google Analytics and Matomo.
Google Analytics provides configurable data-retention settings for user-level and event-level data.
Cookie data
Retention varies according to the relevant cookie or technology and may depend on your browser, consent settings, and third-party provider.
We periodically review whether retained information remains necessary.
23. Data Security
Technolista takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against:
- unauthorized access;
- unauthorized disclosure;
- accidental loss;
- destruction;
- alteration;
- misuse; and
- other unlawful processing.
Security measures may include:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption;
- access controls;
- authentication controls;
- software updates;
- security monitoring;
- backups where appropriate;
- least-privilege access;
- secure hosting practices; and
- periodic review of security practices.
No Internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If we become aware of a personal-data breach, we will assess the incident and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Technolista does not currently use the Website to make decisions producing such effects.
Right to lodge a complaint

26. How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise a privacy right or ask a privacy-related question, contact:
Email: privacy@technolista.com
Please include enough information for us to understand your request and verify your identity where reasonably necessary.
We may request additional information to verify that the person making a request is the relevant data subject or their authorized representative.
This verification process is intended to protect personal data from unauthorized disclosure.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Where legally permitted, we may refuse or limit a request where an applicable legal exception applies. If we cannot fully comply with a request, we will explain the relevant reason where required.
27. Consent Withdrawal and Cookie Preferences
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
You may also manage cookies through:
- the Website’s cookie-consent controls, where available;
- your browser settings;
- third-party provider controls; and
- other opt-out mechanisms provided by relevant services.
Withdrawing consent may not affect processing that is based on another lawful basis.
It may also mean that certain Website features or personalized services are unavailable.
28. Children’s Privacy
The Website is not specifically directed toward children.
Technolista does not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children through the Website.
If you believe that a child has provided personal data to Technolista without appropriate authorization, please contact us at:
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child in circumstances where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise handle that information in accordance with applicable law.
29. Third-Party Websites and Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, applications, services, documentation, social-media platforms, affiliate websites, and other resources.
These third parties operate independently from Technolista.
Technolista is not responsible for:
- their privacy practices;
- their security;
- their content;
- their cookies;
- their data-processing activities; or
- their compliance with applicable privacy laws.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing personal information.
30. No Sale of Personal Data
Technolista does not currently sell personal data to third parties.
Where advertising, affiliate marketing, analytics, or similar technologies involve data sharing or disclosure, such activities are conducted for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and are not intended to constitute a sale of personal data.
If future business activities involve a legally defined “sale,” “sharing,” or equivalent disclosure of personal information under applicable privacy legislation, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any required rights or opt-out mechanisms will be provided.
31. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
Technolista does not currently use personal data collected through the Website to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
